Prescription-Only Active
6-7% Minoxidil
Minoxidil is used to stimulate hair growth and slow balding. Because HairStim uses prescription strength compounds, our formulations are stronger than OTC or most hair loss brands you see online.
Topical Finasteride
Finasteride works by reducing your levels of DHT, the hormone primarily responsible for Male Pattern Baldness (MPB), stopping hair loss and promoting hair regrowth. We offer our formulation of finasteride in topical form.
Dutasteride
Dutasteride works in a similar way to finasteride, and reduces your levels of DHT, the hormone primarily responsible for Male Pattern Baldness (MPB) to treat hair loss.
Retinoic Acid / Tretinoin
Research suggests that tretinoin/retinoic acid promote and regulate cell proliferation and differentiation in the epithelium and may promote vascular proliferation. These factors are important for hair growth promotion.
Turmeric
Turmeric benefits your hair because of its anti-inflammatory properties. By reducing inflammation, it reduces the impact of pattern hair loss or directly inflammatory hair loss on the scalp and hair follicles.
Resveratrol
Research suggests that resveratrol boosts mitochondrial function and, in turn, the energy production of the hair cells. This helps keeps your hair follicles healthy and young.
Topical Spironolactone
In woman, spironolactone works for hair loss by inhibiting an enzyme that helps make testosterone.
Latanoprost
Latanoprost helps increase hair density (terminal and vellus hairs) and is useful in stimulating hair follicle activity and treating hair loss.
